Moong Dal: 1 Cup
Milk: 2 Cups
Water: 1/2 Cup
Sugar/ Jaggery: 1 Cup
Ghee: 1 Tbsp
Cardamom: 2
Cashew: 8
Raisins: 8
Procedure:
- In a hot pan add ghee fry cashew and raisins and keep them aside.
- Then in the same ghee fry moong dal till they get golden brown color (at this stage they smell good).
- Add water and milk and boil it till moong dal become soft.
- Add sugar/ Jaggary at this point and add cardamom powder.
- Add cashew and raisins before serving.
