Dhoodhi Dal.....Sorakay Pappu
























Ingredients:

Dhoodhi(Bottle Guard): 1 Small
Toor Dal: 2 Cups
Tamarind: 1" Piece
Turmeric: 1/4 Tsp
Red Chilli Powder: 1/2 Tsp
Green Chillies: 2
Curry Leaves: Few
Mustard,Jeera
Garlic: 3
Red chillies: 2
Salt to taste
Oil: 3tsp

PROCEDURE:
  • In a small pressure cooker wash dal and keep it aside.
  • Cut Dhoodhi into small pieces and add it to Dal.
  • Add Red Chilli powder, turmeric, green chillies, tamarind and cook the dal till 4-5 whistles.
  • When done add salt and mix the dal and give seasoning with mustard, Jeera, Garlic, Curry Leaves, Red Chillies.
  • Mix further and serve hot with Roti or Rice.
