Toor Dal Powder/ Kandi Podi

























Ingredients:

Toor Dal: 1 Cup
Dry Dhania: 1 Tbsp
Red Chillies: 8
Garlic: 5
Curry Leaves: 1 string
Salt to taste























Procedure:
  • In a hot pan add all the Ingredients.
  • Fry them till golden brown for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Don't burn the dal.
  • Grind the mixture into a fine powder with salt.
  • Serve with Hot Rice and a tsp of ghee/oil.
  • It also goes well with Idli/ Dosa.
